We have a professional relationship with many of the Spanish banks who we would recommend clients looking for a mortgage. Normally the interest rate is quite low in Spain and you have the choice of Capital Repayment or Interest Only.
If you were requesting a mortgage the following documentation would be required:Â Banks will normally only allow 60/70 per cent to non residents.
- Passport
- I.E. (Fiscal identification number in Spain)
- Employment Details
- Income tax purpose (p-60)
- 3 last wage sheets (pension sheets)
- Bank A/C statement from the last 3 months
- Credit Bureau report
- Self-Employed Applicant
- Activity/profession/business
- Inland Revenue Full tax return for the year ended 5th April (current year)
- Chartered accountants report last 2 years (balance sheet, profit and loss accounts)
- Last 3 months Bank Account statement
- Credit Bureau report
If it is a resale property: Property description (title deed).
If it is a new property: Copy of the private contract with the builder.
